Job summary

Delaware Nation Industries seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee diverse construction projects from start to finish. You will hire subs, coordinate with engineers and architects, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with FAR requirements.

Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential. The role involves coordinating with superintendents, QC managers, SSHOs, and stakeholders, with extensive travel across project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible construction project management experience, incl. 3+ years on federal projects.
• Familiarity with FAR requirements and federal construction contracting procedures.
• Knowledge of USACE EM 385-1-1 Safety Manual.
• Ability to read construction drawings and documents; proficient in MS Office and project software.
• Experience with multiple federal/military RFPs, proposals, and active projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from handoff through completion, coordinating with subs, engineers, and clients.
• Administer contracts and subcontracts in line with FAR and company procedures.
• Develop execution plans, schedules, risk mitigation, and procurement strategies.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor quality, safety, cost, and schedule; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Provide leadership to Superintendents, QC Managers, SSHOs, and project teams.
• Prepare cost projections, forecasts, and closeout activities; ensure client satisfaction.
