Job summary

Tutor Perini O&G Joint Venture seeks a Project Engineer for the Manhattan Jail Project in New York, NY. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 5+ years of NYC metro construction experience on large projects, with proficiency in blueprint reading, CAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant construction project experience in NYC metro area valued at 150 million or more.
• Proficiency with Prolog or similar software is desirable.
• Working knowledge of blueprint reading and CAD tools is required.
• Experience with scheduling and estimating software is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspects construction site daily and coordinates with contractors to schedule deliveries.
• Interprets designs and drawings for trades installing materials.
• Prepares field design change requisitions and as-built drawings as required.
• Maintains documentation such as status reports, punch lists, and material calculations.
• Reviews submittals against specifications and participates in design coordination meetings.
