Job summary

Tutor Perini O&G Joint Venture is seeking a senior Contract & Change Administrator to support the Manhattan Jail Project in New York City. The role leads contract administration, change management, compliance oversight, claims coordination, and closeout activities for a large public infrastructure project.

Ideal candidates bring extensive experience with complex construction contracts, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Law, Finance, or related field; equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Contract Administration: manage controls, notices, approvals, directives, and contractual correspondence.
• Track contract obligations, milestones, deadlines, and critical deliverables.
• Maintain accurate and auditable contract documentation and records.
• Change Management: administer change orders, modifications, allowances, and extra work authorizations; evaluate entitlement and schedule impacts.
• Compliance & Risk Management: monitor contractor compliance, verify insurance/bonds, review payments and flow-down requirements.
• Claims & Dispute Resolution: manage claims, relief events, and dispute documentation; provide risk assessments.
• Project Closeout: lead closeout activities, warranties, retainage release, and final documentation.
