Job summary

The Jacksonville Housing Authority is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee the Capital Construction Department from inception to close-out, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule. The role involves coordinating with Procurements & Contracts, Legal, and other departments to drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities include managing design contracts, coordinating with Architects/Engineers, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local housing regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Public Policy, Urban Planning or related field and 6–8 years of government contracts experience.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Must possess strong leadership, communication, policy/procedural experience and proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from inception through close-out, ensuring budget adherence and timely completion.
• Lead management of design contracts and coordination with architects/engineers and regulatory agencies.
• Develop and implement department-wide process improvements and KPIs.
• Assist Procurement with pre-procurement of vendor services and procurement packages.
• Supervise project performance across scope, safety, quality, schedules, and costs.
