Facilities Maintenance Management is seeking a Construction Manager to lead a multi-family project in Jacksonville, NC. The role oversees scheduling, budgeting, and on-site supervision, with potential to transfer to another project after completion.

The candidate will work to ensure quality, safety, and compliance, coordinating with contractors and maintaining documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or 5+ years of construction management experience.
• Knowledge of both residential and commercial systems.
• Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft programs.
• Ability to perform construction tasks in the field if needed.
• Excellent problem solving skills and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing multi-family construction projects and schedules.
• Review budgets, change requests, and project schedules.
• Maintain contractor list and oversee on-site progress and quality.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and conduct periodic contractor meetings.
• Monitor percentage completion and update change orders and reports.
• Maintain project documentation and final close-out reports.
