Job summary

Teklysium Inc. seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead client projects, mentor teams, and ensure project success from bidding through closeout.

As the main client contact, you will coordinate with owners, subcontractors, and internal staff to deliver on schedule and budget. You will oversee complex projects, manage RFIs, change orders, owner requisitions, and invoicing, and build lasting client relationships while applying knowledge of materials, plans, and Procore, MS Project, and

Qualifications

• Experience in building relationships and managing projects.
• Mentoring other PMs and superintendents.
• Knowledge of construction materials, means and methods.
• Understanding of architectural, structural and MEP plans.
• Proficient in project accounting and scheduling (MS Project).
• Proficient in Procore, Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Bid and contract with owners and subcontractors.
• Track RFIs, Change Orders, monthly owner requisitions, and subcontractor invoices weekly.
• Maintain and grow client relationship management.
• Lead on larger and more complex projects when required.

Job description

Senior Construction Project Managers take on a position of great trust and responsibility for Client Construction.

As not only the lead contact for our clients, the Senior Project Manager is also called on to mentor and coach company employees in the practices and activities required for the overall success of each project.

Although a senior leadership role, the Senior Project Manager will be called upon to run work as well, especially on larger and more complicated projects. The responsibilities include bidding and subsequent contracting with both the owners and subcontractors. Weekly and timely tracking of RFIs, Change Orders, Monthly Owner Requisitions and Subcontractor Invoices and Billings. Maintaining and growing the relationship management of our clients is of preeminent importance.

Project Managers should have experience in the following:

• Building relationships and projects


• Mentoring other Project Managers and Superintendents


• Knowledge of construction materials, means and methods


• Understanding of Architectural, Structural and MEP plans and specifications


• Proficient in project accounting, project scheduling (Microsoft Project)
