Job summary

Robotic Technologies Automation is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead complex construction projects in Salt Lake City. You will review specs, develop subcontractor scopes of work, prepare budgets, and manage payments using AIA forms.

Strong communication and leadership are essential to coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and clients. The ideal candidate has 5+ years' PM experience, familiarity with construction law, scheduling, and procurement processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years construction experience as a Project Manager.
• A degree in Engineering, Business, or Construction Management is preferable but not required.
• Familiarity with all aspects of the building construction process including construction law, contract and subcontract administration, scheduling, accounting, verbal and written communication, estimating, purchasing, and management/human resources.

Responsibilities

• Advanced knowledge of the construction process.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and create Subcontractors scope of work.
• Prepare estimates including schedule of values and quantity take-offs.
• Analyze bids by Subcontractors and material vendors.
• Prepare and manage project budgets.
• Prepare General Contractor applications for payment using AIA documents.
• Prepare and issue subcontracts, purchase orders and change orders.
• Prepare and distribute submittal and close out documentation.
• Accurate and effective document control, management, and distribution.
• Review and approve Subcontractor application for payment/invoices.
• Maintain relationships with Clients, Management, Superintendents, Subcontractors, Vendors, and other trades to meet schedule and budget.
• Provide leadership and motivation to the project team.
• Utilize scheduling software and, with the Superintendent, update the project schedule.
• Coordinate Certificate of Occupancy requirements with authorities.
