Job summary

DAVIS is seeking a Project Manager to support the project team in daily construction management and execution. You will oversee multiple projects, assist with safety, quality, cost, scheduling, bidding, and contract administration to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires 4+ years in construction with a related degree and strong communication skills; LEED experience and safety certifications are preferred. Competitive compensation offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent construction experience.
• General contracting experience.
• Minimum of four (4) years construction experience.
• Knowledge of project management principles and safety standards.
• Ability to lead junior team members and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with project management and scheduling software.
• Sustainable building experience (LEED) preferred.
• CPR/First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, WELL, ILFI, LEED preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares cost estimates, generates scopes of work, and prepares preliminary schedules and site logistics.
• Negotiates and issues subcontract agreements and purchase orders.
• Develops the detailed project construction schedule with Superintendent and partners; updates timely.
• Leads project meetings with owners, design team, and trade partners and provides documentation.
• Enforces the DAVIS Safety program and develops project-specific safety plans.
• Manages project closeout, punch lists, and documentation.
• Coordinates HVAC, plumbing, life safety, electrical and associated systems.
• Manages submittals, RFIs, change orders, and schedules.
• Maintains contract documents and as-builts; posts drawings with RFIs/submittals.
• Tracks material fabrication, transportation, and approvals.
• Creates Material Tracking Log and handles project financial forecasting and reporting.
• Participates in audits and post-completion reviews; handles owner invoicing.
