Job summary

DAVIS is seeking a Project Manager to support the project team in the daily management and execution of the construction process in Charlotte, NC. The role manages multiple projects at various stages of construction, assisting with safety, quality, cost, contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding and contract administration to ensure timely completion.

Responsibilities include leading project meetings with owners and trade partners, coordinating with superintendents, and enforcing the Davis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent construction experience.
• General Contracting experience.
• Minimum of four (4) years previous construction experience.
• Knowledge of principles and practices of engineering and construction project management, including safety standards.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and learn technical systems and processes.
• Ability to effectively manage and lead junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Supports the project team with the daily management and execution of the construction process.
• Manages one or more projects at various stages of construction.
• Assists with safety management, quality, cost management, contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding and contract administration.
• Leads project meetings with owners, design team, and trade partners.
• Enforces the Davis Safety program and develops project-specific safety plans and orientation processes.
• Maintains contract documents and ‘as-builts’; posts drawings with RFIs and submittals.
• Responsible for financial forecasting and Project Status Reports.
• Prepares monthly project owner invoicing and budget management.
