ARCO National Construction Company in the Kansas City area (Riverside) seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead construction projects from inception to completion. You will oversee budgeting, scheduling, design coordination, and vendor management, ensuring safety and quality.

Candidates should have 8–10+ years of PM experience, proficiency with Procore/Bluebeam/MS Project, and a bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of project management experience.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.
• Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance.
• Willingness to travel or be site-based as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage managerial and administrative aspects of a project.
• Prepare estimates, schedules, quality control, and progress reports.
• Oversee buyout process and subcontractor selection.
• Lead design review and cost reporting.
• Coordinate with owners and design team on preliminary concepts.
• Conduct bi-weekly job-site meetings.

We are looking for Senior Project Managers to lead construction projects from inception to completion in our Kansas City office (Riverside). A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project. Including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation


• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate


• Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings


• Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas


• Oversee the buyout process and the selection of subcontractors


• Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings on site


• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines


• Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results


• Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes


• Make necessary changes, use customer input to make improvements, and meet/exceed internal and external client expectations


• Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and other associates, while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations


• Mentoring or oversight of Project Managers

Necessary Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of project management experience


• Highly prefer design-build experience


• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)


• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications


• Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance


• Willingness to travel or be site-based as required


• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required
