ARCO National Construction Company in Omaha, NE is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction projects from inception to completion. You will drive estimating, contracts, planning, scheduling, budgeting and procurement with the design team and owners.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years of PM experience, design-build exposure, and fluency with Procore, Bluebeam and MS Project. This on-site role offers strong compensation and an award-winning culture.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of project management experience on construction projects.
• Design-build experience highly preferred.
• Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam and MS Project.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate estimating, contract negotiations, planning, scheduling, budgeting and procurement.
• Develop preliminary concept drawings with owners and design team.
• Lead proposal meetings and value engineering discussions with clients.
• Oversee subcontractor buyout and conduct biweekly job site meetings.
• Organize and manage multiple activities to achieve project goals.
• Ensure quality and meet client expectations under deadlines.

A Day In The Life

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of construction projects, including estimating, contract negotiations, proposal preparation, planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and execution
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate
• Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
• Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas
• Oversee the buyout process and the selection of subcontractors
• Conduct biweekly job site meetings on site
• Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results
• Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines to meet/exceed internal and external client expectations
• Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and associates

Necessary Qualifications

• At least 3-5+ years of project management experience
• Highly prefer design-build experience
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required
