Job summary

Performance Services is seeking a Project Manager to provide leadership on assigned construction projects, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery. This role involves front-line estimating input and direct supervision of subcontractors to achieve success.

The position requires strong leadership, scheduling, and communication skills with a background in commercial construction and knowledge of Design Build methodologies. This role is based on-site in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or industry experience equivalent preferred.
• Background in Educational and Commercial construction.
• 6-10 years experience in commercial construction.
• Design Build methodology experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership to the project team to ensure a safe, profitable & timely completed project.
• Conduct onsite meetings.
• Manage project team productivity.
• Confer with supervisors and site staff about work procedures, complaints and construction problems.
• Coordinate subcontractors and manage according to project schedule.
• Create and plan the schedule for each project.
• Understand & manage changes to the project plan.
• Provide projections and manage changes due to weather, emergencies or other delays.
• Provide reports on timeline, progress & adjustments.
• Order, manage and oversee delivery of materials and equipment.
• Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
• Work with subcontractors to plan, organize and direct activities concerned with road and site construction projects.
