Responsibilities

• Source projects through local Augusta community networking and project databases.

• Establish and maintain harmonious working relationships for the project team.
• Communicate with project team regarding schedule, cost, safety, quality, changes and risks.
• Manage multiple projects through established project controls and procedures.
• Handle project contract documentation, permitting and licensing.
• Coordinate with Project Superintendent(s) on schedule, procurement, quality, equipment, manpower and logistics.
• Lead project meetings during pre-construction and construction phases.
• Manage project closeout and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Source projects through local Augusta community networking and project databases
• Perform pre-construction planning, scheduling, estimating and quality control
• Establish and maintain harmonious working relationships and environment for the entire project team
• Communicate with entire project team regarding schedule, cost, safety, quality, changes and risks
• Properly manage multiple projects through established project controls and procedures
• Management of all project contract documentation, including permitting and licensing
• Coordination with Project Superintendent(s) regarding schedule, procurement, quality, equipment, manpower and logistics
• Lead project meetings during pre-construction and construction phases
• Manage project closeout, ensuring client satisfaction

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION

• BS or MS degree in Construction Management or Engineering
• 7 - 10 years of Augusta, Georgia area experience
• 7 - 10 years of Project Management experience on projects valued up to $20 million
• Equivalent combination of education or experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to source, estimate, schedule, manage and complete building projects up to $20 million
• Keen understanding of local Augusta market business environment
• Knowledge of Estimating, Scheduling and Project Management software (Sage, Microsoft, etc.)
• Thorough understanding of entire construction process from initial client contact through closeout
• Skilled knowledge of sequencing and workflow of construction activities for all trades
• Strong technical and communication abilities are critical
• Working within a collaborative team environment
