Job summary

Opitz Bürotechnik is seeking a Project Manager to oversee a construction project from planning through closeout. The role involves coordinating schedule, budget, quality and safety, managing subcontractors and contract documents, and ensuring effective communication with owners and the project team.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Building Science, Construction Management or related field, 5–8 years of large-scale construction experience, and proficiency with MS Office and scheduling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and specified in related construction fields.
• 5–8 years of experience in large, complex facility construction with on-site management experience.
• Knowledge of budgeting, accounting and procurement to manage a project.
• Computer skills including MS Office and scheduling software such as Suretrak, Project, P6, Procore, Revit, VICO or equivalent.
• LEED Accreditation preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Attend planning meetings and project status meetings.
• Develop and maintain the project plan with monthly projections and change orders for owner and subcontractors.
• Prepare project administration, correspondence and letters.
• Build industry relationships to expand networks and sales opportunities.
• Maintain understanding of contract documents and budget/Job Cost Reports.
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, RFPs, procurement and pay applications.
• Coordinate delivery of materials to job sites.
• Organize and attend project meetings and distribute minutes.
• Maintain client contact to gauge performance and communicate with the project team.
• Lead owner-architect-contractor meetings to monitor status of projects.
