Job summary

Nautilus General Contractors is seeking a Project Manager in Los Angeles, CA to own construction project delivery from start to finish. You will oversee finances, billings, contracts, communications, schedules, and client coordination to ensure successful completion after bidding and contracting.

The role emphasizes strong budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration with hands-on leadership of site teams and partners. Occasional travel and onsite work are involved.

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong budgeting and cost control capabilities.
• Proactive client coordination and communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to develop and manage project schedules and milestones.
• Experience drafting and negotiating contracts and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Plans and supervises construction projects from beginning to close-out.
• Assists in estimating and bidding construction projects as needed.
• Participates in the sales and interview process along with other team members, as needed.
• Prepares line-item project budgets and maintains budget throughout the project.
• Prepares Schedule of Values and monitors changes and costs.
• Drafts contracts with owners and subcontractors and ensures proper execution.
• Maintains project schedules and provides updates to stakeholders.
• Ensures compliance with permits and regulatory requirements.
• Manages site superintendents, coordinators, and homeowner liaisons.
