Job summary

Clune Construction Company, L.P. is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager in the Los Angeles area to lead preconstruction, budgeting, and coordination of large commercial projects.

You will manage subcontractor procurement, sustain client relationships, and drive project execution from planning through turnover. The role emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and mentorship, with a focus on delivering high-quality, on-time results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction project management experience.
• 2–3 years of experience specifically in commercial construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts by developing budgets, value engineering, constructability reviews, and defining project scope.
• Develop and implement the project execution plan by coordinating schedules, logistics, procurement, phasing, and construction activities from preconstruction through project completion.
• Lead subcontractor procurement by preparing bid packages, evaluating proposals, negotiating contracts, selecting trade partners, and ensuring timely subcontract execution.
• Serve as primary liaison for owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners, leading project meetings and communicating project status, risks, and solutions.
• Oversee project financial performance by budgeting, forecasting, billings, change orders, cost control, contingency, and overall financial health.
• Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers to foster collaboration and growth.
