Jobot, a reputable commercial general contractor in the Twin Cities area, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead planning and execution of complex construction projects. You will define scope, develop plans, manage budgets, allocate staff, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven 6+ years in the construction sector.
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
• Proficient in using construction management software packages.
• Leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
• Strong client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of construction laws and safety regulations.
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and visualization tools.
• Ability to see the big picture and plan accordingly.
• Experience with strategic planning and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of commercial construction projects.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Define project tasks and resource requirements.
• Develop full-scale project plans and manage project budget.
• Assemble and coordinate project staff.
• Manage project resource allocation.
• Plan and schedule project timelines.
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
• Provide direction and support to project team.
• Quality assurance, ensuring project standards are met.
• Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders.
• Present reports defining progress, problems, and solutions.
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve outputs.
• Project evaluations and assessment of results.
• Ensure construction safety measures are met at all times.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
