Job summary

Jobot seeks a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead heavy civil projects in the Minneapolis area. You will oversee preconstruction through closeout, manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality on large-scale infrastructure work.

Candidates should have 5+ years in heavy civil construction, strong knowledge of DOT standards, and experience with conceptual estimates and bids.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction project management or estimating.
• Experience with heavy civil projects including roadways, bridges, utilities, earthwork, grading, paving, concrete, or site development.
• Ability to manage projects from preconstruction through closeout while maintaining schedule and budget goals.
• Experience preparing conceptual estimates, competitive bids, quantity takeoffs, and cost analyses for heavy civil projects.
• Strong understanding of DOT, municipal, and public infrastructure construction standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead heavy civil construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, schedules, and field coordination.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, cost tracking, and change orders.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and subcontractor proposals.
• Ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction on projects.
