Job summary

F.H. Paschen is seeking a Project Manager to lead Building and Infrastructure projects, manage project teams, and oversee private and public work with diverse delivery methods. You will supervise contract scope, lead cost reporting, and coordinate with supers and owners.

Travel locally or nationally is required. The role requires a BS in CM/Engineering or 10 years of construction experience and a minimum of 6 years managing projects, with proficiency in project management and scheduling

Qualifications

• BS in CM or Engineering or 10 years of construction experience.
• Minimum 6 years managing construction projects.
• Experience managing Job Order Contract projects preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and personnel simultaneously.
• Knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting and cash flow management.
• Proficiency in project management and scheduling software.
• Great communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction contracts and/or work orders.
• Supervise the project team assigned to contracts and work orders.
• Collaborate with other Project Managers in the office as necessary.
• Monitor Superintendent performance on contracts and work orders.
• Create and collaborate on work proposals.
• Negotiate financial disputes and change orders with owners.
• Administrative point of contact for the owner.
• Understand project scope of work and cost reporting.
• Document and negotiate changes with subcontractors and owners.
• Develop field QA/QC plan with Superintendent.
• Collaborate on project safety plan with Superintendents.
• Manage MBE/WBE subcontracting requirements and EEO/affirmative actions.
• The ability to travel locally or nationally; report to various work locations.
