Job summary

F.H. Paschen seeks an experienced project manager to oversee construction projects and lead diverse teams. The role involves coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors while managing budgets, schedules, and risk across private and public sector projects.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in construction management or engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience. Expect a dynamic, safety‑driven environment with strong emphasis on quality delivery.

Qualifications

• B.S in Construction Management or Engineering.
• 10+ years of construction experience with a general contractor.
• Ability to manage project and personnel simultaneously.
• Knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting and cash flow management.
• Computer skills, knowledge of Project Management, Scheduling, good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent and demonstrate the values of F.H. Paschen: tenacity, versatility, ingenuity, and pride.
• Manage one large $80–$100M project or multiple smaller $20–$1M projects.
• Point of contact for management staff, architects, subcontractors, owners, engineers.
• Participate in life cycle of project including estimating, value engineering, scheduling.
• Supervise project teams on assigned contracts.
• Collaborate with other Project Managers to find alternative solutions.
• Collaborate with Superintendents.
• Negotiate financial disputes and change orders with owners.
• Document and negotiate changes affecting completion or costs.
• Develop field QA/QC plan with Superintendent.
• Collaborate on project safety plan with Superintendents.
• Manage MBE/WBE subcontracting requirements and EEO/Affirmative action.
