Southern Foodservice Management, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee a large-scale facility renovation project in the Richmond, VA area.

The role requires coordinating resources, schedules, and budgets while ensuring safety and quality throughout all phases of construction. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in commercial construction, with proven ability to manage complex projects, stakeholders, and on-site operations in active facilities.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in commercial construction or facility renovations.
• At least five years directly managing construction/renovation projects.
• Experience delivering large-scale projects from planning to completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems and safety standards.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of a large-scale commercial construction and renovation project from planning to completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and milestones.
• Coordinate general contractors, subs, architects, engineers, vendors, and partners.
• Manage labor, materials, equipment, and contractor schedules.
• Monitor progress and mitigate delays or issues to keep on track.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and docs for compliance.
• Oversee budgets, expenditures, invoices, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with leadership to minimize disruption to operations.
• Conduct site inspections and project meetings to track progress.
• Provide regular status updates on schedules, budgets, risks.
