Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager in Columbia, MD to lead project teams and deliver high-quality results. You will oversee end-to-end execution, manage contractors and stakeholders, and drive budget and risk management to achieve targets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field with about 7 years of experience, including some management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or related field.
• 1-2 years managerial experience preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; OSHA 30 within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Leads, manages, and develops a team of construction project individuals; sets expectations and supports development plans.
• Oversees end-to-end project execution; monitors progress and addresses escalated issues; maintain safety presence.
• Approves procurement of materials, equipment, and trade subcontractors as needed.
• Communicates project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders; uses project management knowledge.
• Partners with Superintendent to implement project quality and safety programs.
