Job summary

Ferguson Construction Company is seeking a Project Executive to support business development, estimating, and project management. The role involves close collaboration with the Regional VP, Director of Operations, and Director of Business Development, with travel to job sites in the Southern Region of Ohio.

Responsibilities include owner relationship management, project leadership, scheduling, cost reporting, and mentorship of Project Managers and Engineers on large-scale design/build projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• 10+ years of experience as a project manager or senior project manager in construction.
• Procore knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage owner relationships and provide general project management as needed.
• Coordinate, direct, oversee, and lead on projects for owner, design department, and project staff.
• Ensure quality and timely execution of design/build projects.
• Oversee scheduling, cost reporting, subcontracts, owner coordination, and closeouts with stakeholders.
• Mentor and manage multiple Project Managers and Engineers; oversee all staff on large projects.
• Represent Ferguson Construction to owners, architects, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Forecast project performance accurately.
• Monitor client relationships and address issues as needed.
• Ensure adherence to Ferguson standard operating procedures.
• Oversee long-term forecasts and ensure long lead items are procured per schedule.
