Ferguson Construction Co. is seeking a Senior Design Architect to join its innovative design team in Dayton, Ohio. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the design-build process, working closely with skilled craftsmen to deliver a range of projects in various sectors including commercial and healthcare.

Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience, a professional architectural degree, and proficiency in Revit. The position includes leading projects from conception to completion and mentoring young talent.

Qualifications

• Must hold a professional degree.
• Must be a Registered architect with the ability to be registered in Ohio and Indiana.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience, with 10+ years preferred.
• Organized with great communication skills.
• Quality, deadline, and detail-oriented, with a customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a variety of large and small projects from conceptual design to final detailing.
• Complete conceptual designs for new builds, additions, and renovations.
• Work with design staff to detail and assemble construction documents in Revit.
• Lead and mentor existing designers and co-op students.
• Collaborate with outside consultants and internal colleagues.
