Bali Construction Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead and manage high-profile construction projects in Southern California. The role emphasizes planning, coordination, and execution across multidisciplinary teams to deliver on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates bring a strong background in project controls, document management (TRACK/Procore), and safety. The team emphasizes ownership of roles, growth, and collaboration within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field; or equivalent.
• Proficient in Windows 10, Office 365, and Bluebeam.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage key processes with oversight.
• Multitasking and organizational skills are essential.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in B2W TRACK.
• Proficient in document control software (Procore, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Review project documents, identify conflicts, generate RFIs, and report to the Project Manager.
• Maintain and update RFI and submittal logs.
• Prepare and transmit submittal packages and address review comments for approval.
• Identify quantity changes and coordinate with clients and design teams.
• Coordinate with Purchasing Manager for vendor drawings and substitutions.
• Obtain permits and visit project sites; attend meetings.
• Support safety documentation and risk communication.
• Assist with cost-to-complete analyses and turnover meetings.
• Price time & material extra work tickets as needed.
