Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced leader to manage one or more projects from preconstruction through closeout in Dallas, TX. You will develop client relationships, lead high-performance teams, and collaborate with Sales and Marketing to win new work.

Responsibilities include risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and budgeting, with oversight of scheduling and QA/QC programs. A strong background in BIM/Lean and a track record of safety and ethics compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus 18 years related experience.
• Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles.
• Proven business development and regional market knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong presentation skills.
• Ability to read contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Experience with BIM and Lean techniques to benefit projects.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, the design community, and organizations to enhance future business opportunities.
• Develop high-performance teams through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring with regular feedback and performance appraisals.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to secure new work for the business unit.
• Ensure ethics and compliance requirements on all projects.
• Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee and pricing decisions.
• Manage and lead multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee the master project schedule development and its implementation.
• Oversee budget and financial management for all projects.
• Support and drive utilization of Turner initiatives and technologies; drive QA/QC program.
