Job summary

HKS, Inc. seeks an experienced Construction Administrator to lead multiple projects through the construction phase, coordinating with Owner, Architect/Engineer and Contractor teams to ensure design intent and quality compliance.

The role requires extensive knowledge of building systems, codes, QA/QC and strong problem-solving abilities. Travel may be needed; experience across the project lifecycle from design to occupancy is valued. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Advanced - expert-level experience, knowledge or skills in construction administration and project coordination.
• Experience with entire project lifecycle from design through occupancy is required.
• Knowledge of building codes, sustainability guidelines and QA/QC processes is essential.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with a diplomatic leadership style and strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction phase activities for concurrent projects including site meetings, submittals, and payment reviews.
• Coordinate with Owner, Architect/Engineer and Contractor to achieve project goals and ensure design intent.
• Review RFIs, submittals and changes, communicating implications to the project team.
• Perform site visits and field observations; prepare field reports and document results.
