HKS, Inc. is seeking a seasoned construction administrator to lead multiple projects through their construction phases, coordinating with Owners, Architects/Engineers, and Contractors to ensure design intent and code compliance.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, strong communication, and a solid understanding of architectural building systems, codes, and QA/QC processes. Travel is expected as part of project oversight.

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Engineering, Construction Science or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of experience typically required.
• Sustainable design accreditation preferred.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Newforma, 3D modeling software and PDF editing software preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sustainability and integrated design guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of Owner-Architect and related agreements.
• Advanced knowledge of building codes and QA/QC processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead Construction Phase activities for multiple concurrent projects, including meetings, submittals, and payment reviews.
• Coordinate with Owner, Architect/Engineer, and Contractor teams to meet project goals and maintain communication protocols.
• Apply knowledge of codes and building systems to project work.
• Manage RFIs and submittals, and maintain documents using project software.
• Conduct site visits and prepare field reports to ensure quality and compliance.
• Monitor changes requested by Owner/Contractor and advise on potential additional services.
• Review submittals for conformance with contract documents and design intent.
• Foster team collaboration and maintain knowledge of all related agreements.
• Support business development through client relationships and proposal support.
• Promote design excellence and sustainable design practices within projects.
