Job summary

Wolverine Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large commercial construction projects from design through closeout. The role emphasizes client relationships, safety, schedule adherence, and profitability.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in construction project management, experience with complex projects, and strong knowledge of preconstruction, estimating, and contracts. Based in Michigan with opportunities at Brighton/Lansing locations; travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management.
• Experience on varied and complex projects is required.
• Must possess advanced knowledge of entitlement and design processes, contracts, subcontracts and preconstruction through closeout.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provides construction leadership and manages client relationships for large commercial projects from design through closeout.
• Manages complex relationships among owner, architect, subcontractors, consultants, and field staff.
• Oversees multiple construction processes from conceptual estimating to final turnover.
• Leads project meetings and ensures safety plans, schedules, budgets, and contract terms are followed.
• Maintains accurate project budgets and dashboards; tracks invoices and change orders.
