Job summary

Alliance Residential Company is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee multifamily residential projects from planning through closeout. You will supervise site trades, manage schedules, and ensure work complies with contract documents and safety standards.

Travel to project sites is expected as needed. You will coordinate with subcontractors, controls teams, and design partners to maintain schedule and budget while delivering high quality on time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three or more years prior experience in construction management or similar preferred.
• Advanced Procore knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Familiar with scheduling software such as MS Project, P6, or similar.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience directing work of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Knowledge of construction processes including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, manpower.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project is completed on time, within budget and according to plans and specifications.
• Supervise and coordinate installation of work in accordance with contract documents, schedule, and planned sequence of work.
• Oversee decisions related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and staffing levels.
• Assist Superintendent with development, management, and maintenance of the project schedule.
• Collaborate with project team to develop schedules and determine sequencing of work.
• Track milestone dates and manage activities to achieve them.
• Oversee work among trades to promote coordinated project operation.
• Resolve field issues with development/design teams and trade partners.
• Manage onsite work to conform to contract documents.
