Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Engineer for our Sioux Falls, SD projects. You will support planning, coordination, and execution of construction and development efforts, including estimating, documentation, scheduling, procurement, QC, and field leadership.

You will collaborate with surveyors, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain schedule, budget, and quality, while traveling to project sites as needed and ensuring safe, on-time delivery within budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or related field.
• Experience coordinating subs, schedules, budgets, and procurement.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with surveyors, contractors, and field personnel to establish boundaries and project controls.
• Assist with development and maintenance of project schedules and budgets.
• Prepare agendas and coordinate meetings with consultants, team members, and subcontractors.
• Conduct inspections, support quality control, and prepare project reports.
• Manage material quantity take-offs and assist with project estimating.
• Communicate construction documents to subcontractors and vendors.
• Support continuous improvement in project execution and productivity.
