Job summary

Engineered Truss Systems, Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead multi-project execution in Sioux Falls, SD. You will oversee design alignment, coordinate with contractors and owners, obtain permits, and ensure safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

You will refine requirements with the Project Manager, manage costs and schedules, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining strong relationships with trade contractors and clients.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; 5+ years of experience in construction.
• Knowledgeable about all aspects of the construction process.
• Strong problem-solving skills; ability to think outside the box and propose solutions.
• Ability to manage trade contractors and coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and designers.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Project Manager to understand and refine project requirements.
• Oversee design services on projects when required and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Obtain permits/entitlements in coordination with authorities.
• Procure and coordinate surveyors, excavators, and geotechnical teams.
• Develop preliminary schedules and budgets; monitor changes and costs.
• Support implementation of the corporate safety program and quality control.
