Job summary

Longenecker & Associates (L&A), a Geosyntec Company, seeks a Sr. Construction Project Manager to lead large-scale capital projects at DOE/NNSA sites, including Pantex in Amarillo, TX.

You will guide design through closeout, manage budgets, and drive safety and quality in complex programs. The role requires extensive construction leadership, DOE project experience, and the ability to interface with senior stakeholders while delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Must pass federal background investigation to secure DOE Q security clearance if required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and background/drug testing.
• 30+ years of related experience in construction.
• In-depth knowledge of construction, cost and scheduling, subcontract administration.
• Knowledge of DOE Orders and Regulations and industry codes.
• Minimum 10 years of management and leadership directing multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex projects from initiation through completion with schedules, budgets, and risk management.
• Oversee project controls, cost management, and contract administration to meet budgets and objectives.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships, presenting status and recommendations to executives.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and ensure compliance with safety, security and quality standards.
