Job summary

Safework, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Project Manager in the Los Angeles area to lead multi-project design and construction efforts, from planning through closeout. You will coordinate stakeholders, ensure quality management, and resolve complex issues to keep programs on track.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of experience in large capital projects, familiarity with DSA processes, and BIM-enabled delivery. The role offers a full-time opportunity with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience managing multiple design and construction projects.
• Experience with large capital improvement programs and public buildingcode.
• Experience with Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction/design processes.
• BA or BS in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field.
• Experience utilizing BIM.
• Knowledge of all parts of the project life cycle, to include master planning, design and closeout.
• Experience in alternative delivery method.
• Experience with using a web-based project management system.
• Experience in LEED certified projects and/or CHPS.
• AIA or PE or CCM.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and reviews project management activities including design and construction of new and modernization projects.
• Resolves complex, construction project related issues, disputes, and disagreements.
• Follow and successfully execute program Quality Management System.
• Report and collaborate with client on all project matters.
• Review and develop contract documents in coordination with others.
• Identify risk and create risk mitigation plans successfully.
