Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced project leader to direct multi-project execution on major construction programs in California. The role oversees budgeting, scheduling, QA/QC, and safety, driving high-performance teams and ensuring contract compliance.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years of major project experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to leverage BIM/Lean methods to deliver complex facilities on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + minimum of twelve years' related construction experience.
• Proven experience leading planning and execution of technical, complex projects valued at $100M+.
• Knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing and engineering principles; accounting knowledge.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance teams through supervision, training, coaching and mentoring; provide regular feedback.
• Understand and administer Turner’s contract and subcontract agreements.
• Foster owner, architect, subcontractor and vendor relations.
• Establish and manage Master Project Schedule; ensure implementation.
• Oversee budget and financial reporting; monitor adherence to budget.
• Manage QA/QC program and on-site engineering processes.
• Drive safety protocols and professional conduct; ensure risk mitigation.
• Support preconstruction activities as needed; coordinate with teams.
