Job summary

Amazon's Worldwide Retail Grocery Development (WWRGD) team seeks a Sr. Construction Program Manager to design governance frameworks and scalable systems for 600+ active pipeline projects.

You'll own end-to-end Procore governance, build training curricula, and drive data-driven decision making with SOPs and AI opportunities, enabling teams across Design, Construction, and Store Operations to execute consistently. This is a program-focused role, not a project manager position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 7+ years of project mgmt, real estate development, architecture/design.
• Experience in construction or MOPs/SWMS for planned works.
• Procore expertise across RFI, Submittals, Bidding, Change Management, PCO/CCO.
• Experience governing permitting, entitlements, and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to translate construction program data into executive insights with PowerBI or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and govern policy, construction standards, and the Whole Foods Market standard construction specification book.
• Own end-to-end Procore process governance for execution teams and ensure information flows across lifecycle.
• Advocate for system enhancements to drive scalability as portfolio grows.
• Govern value engineering and cost governance frameworks across the portfolio.
• Partner with Strategic Category Management and Vendor Management on GC performance assessment.
• Define milestone frameworks and scheduling standards for Construction Operations Groups.
• Build and deliver role-based training curricula and SOP libraries for Procore and Coupa.
• Identify AI and automation opportunities within construction workflows and develop roadmaps with LSA Product Management.
