Job summary

Redwood Materials is seeking a Construction Manager to lead in-house installers, subcontractors, and vendors while driving project performance, safety, and quality across all phases.

The role requires 8+ years of construction experience, a Bachelor's degree (MS preferred), and strong proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam, and MS Project. Occasional travel to out-of-state locations is expected.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of construction experience
  • Bachelor's Degree (MS preferred) in Engineering or Construction Management
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Bluebeam, MS Project preferred
  • Understanding of construction design documents and ability to provide constructability feedback
  • Ability to sequence installations with all construction trades

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of construction projects, including bidding, contractor negotiations, execution, punch lists, and closeout.
  • Develop project scopes and RFPs with engineering teams.
  • Oversee construction financial analysis, budgeting, and productivity.
  • Perform constructability reviews, quality control, and root-cause analysis.
  • Administer construction documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and tracking systems.
  • Coordinate project startup, planning, meetings, QA/QC documentation, and commissioning activities.
  • Promote safety and environmental compliance and report metrics to leadership.
