Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Specialist in Procurement of Construction Works and Services to be based in New York City or Dallas, TX. Responsibilities include developing procurement strategies, issuing RFIs/RFPs, and managing bid processes with vendors and internal stakeholders.

The role requires strong contract knowledge, PMIS experience (PMWeb, Ariba), and collaboration across project teams to ensure schedules and budgets align with the project plan.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and at least four years of procurement experience in corporate interiors or related field.
• Experience in construction management, architecture or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of contracting forms and contracting strategies.

Responsibilities

• Review project requirements and draft procurement strategy memos.
• Prepare and issue RFIs/RFQs/RFPs in client PMIS systems.
• Follow up with vendors pre/post bid to address questions up to award.
• Evaluate bids for completeness, competitiveness, and compliance.
• Engage with GC/architect/engineer/FF&E vendors to execute procurement strategy.
• Prepare purchase orders, master agreements, and contracts for appointments.
