Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist for Construction Works and Services, based in New York City or Dallas, TX, working in a hybrid model. You will lead procurement strategy, engage with GC's, architects, engineers, and vendors, and ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and budgets.

You will draft RFPs, evaluate bids, negotiate contracts, and maintain supplier relationships to support large-scale infrastructure projects. This is a challenging role at a global leader.

Qualifications

• BA/BS and four years of procurement experience in the corporate office interiors space or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education.
• Experience in construction management, architecture or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Review project requirements and draft procurement strategy memos.
• Prepare and issue RFIs/RFQs/RFPs in client's PMIS.
• Follow up with vendors to answer questions during bid process and up to award.
• Level and analyze bids based on completeness, cost, schedule, ESG and quality expectations.
• Prepare purchase orders, master agreements, and contracts for appointments (architects/engineers, contractors).
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and contractors.
• Monitor and report procurement performance metrics and ensure compliance.
