Job summary

Kimberly-Clark is hiring a NA Procurement Construction Services & Equipment Sr Specialist to develop and execute the Capex construction category sourcing strategy and manage construction spend in North America. You will partner with Plant, Engineering, Enterprise Capital, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Facilities Management, and Procurement teams.

You will manage contractors, supplier relationships, and bid processes, driving value engineering and long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline is highly preferred.
• 7+ years in construction management, engineering, procurement, or related roles with procurement/category management experience favored.
• Deep knowledge of construction processes, cost drivers, and EPC/Design-Build contracts desired.
• Experience managing general contractors and industrial/manufacturing construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage Construction and Installation Services and Equipment category.
• Deliver procurement targets for the scope of categories.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on category needs and strategy, gathering business requirements.
• Execute category strategic initiatives and maintain knowledge/processes.
• Lead supplier relationships, reviews, and risk mitigation across enterprise contracts.
• Lead bidding, pricing/terms negotiations, contracting and implementation.
• Lead sourcing events in collaboration with the Agile Squad team.
