Job summary

Target in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Supply Chain to lead construction projects from planning through turnover. You will develop and manage scopes, budgets, and schedules while coordinating on-site construction, fixtures, and architectural/engineering milestones.

You will review bids, negotiate contracts, approve changes, and monitor cross-functional teams to ensure milestones are met within approved budgets.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in project management, store planning or purchasing.
• Ability to lead multiple projects with emphasis on estimating, budgeting and scheduling.
• Ability to negotiate and resolve conflict.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in public speaking and presenting.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Periodic project travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of store and distribution center projects from planning to turnover.
• Develop and manage scopes, budgets and schedules for assigned projects.
• Direct construction, fixture installation, and architecture/engineering milestones.
• Review contractor bids, make recommendations and approve subcontractor bids.
• Conduct contract negotiations and approve changes and payments.
• Hold cross-functional meetings to monitor activities and budgets.
• Ensure project milestones are met while maintaining Target quality standards.
