Job summary

Master Planning Management in Pomona, CA seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of construction projects in a hybrid work setting. You will direct project teams through scoping, planning, design, dependencies, construction, and close-out, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

The role requires 7+ years of PMI-related experience, with proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Projects, SAP, and Primavera P6. A Bachelor’s degree is required; PMP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Experience with 7+ years of project management in the field
• Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Projects, and SAP; knowledge of P6 is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead/manage multiple, programmatic projects (between 150 – 200 small/medium projects within a portfolio) with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods, and outcomes
• Provide direction for the project team and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle including, scoping and project initiation, planning and design, dependencies, construction, and close-out activities
• Direct involvement in tasks necessary for successful project execution; identify problems and solutions; establish objectives, timelines, risk analysis, milestones, deliverables and budgets
• Utilize project controls to manage budget and schedule, forecast performance, perform variance analysis, maintain schedules and project plans, identify trends
• Work independently with minimal project analytical support; manage action items, change control, meeting agendas, and minutes
• Resolve issues and ensure task completion by prioritizing and resolving conflicts with team members and functional managers
• Understand PM core concepts; learn processes and portfolio management
• Be organized, communicate well, and be self-motivated and proactive
