Job summary

AlphaGov is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial interior construction from startup to final closeout, focusing on drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring and related finishes.

You will lead project planning, budgeting, procurement, field coordination and subcontractor management to drive profitability while ensuring schedules, safety and quality standards across multiple projects in Pensacola, FL.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in commercial interior construction
• Direct experience managing drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring or related interior finish projects
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, contracts, scopes of work and schedules
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders (superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, suppliers, clients)
• Understanding of project financial performance and cost controls
• Familiarity with Procore/Bluebeam or similar CM software (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial interior construction projects from startup through final closeout
• Establish and manage schedules, budgets, procurement plans and execution strategies
• Coordinate daily activities with field teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients
• Track budgets, labor productivity, change orders and overall profitability
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, purchase orders and payment applications
• Manage material purchasing, including long-lead items and delivery schedules
• Lead project meetings and communicate progress and risks to stakeholders
• Identify cost overruns, scheduling conflicts and opportunities for additional work
• Build client relationships and ensure safety, quality and schedule targets
