Job summary

Anning-Johnson Co. seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion.

You will oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and financial performance, coordinating with customers, field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects, with on-site leadership as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent construction experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of construction management experience or related field.
• Experience managing large/commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of project financials, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, billing, and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple commercial construction projects from planning through completion.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors and partners.
• Provide leadership to project teams and report project performance to executives.
• Coordinate with superintendents to plan, organize, and direct construction activities.
• Own project schedules, budgets, cost control, forecasting, billing, contracts, and change orders.
• Identify and address schedule, cost, manpower, and operational issues proactively.
• Ensure projects maximize customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
• Represent the company in project meetings and strategic planning.
• Procure materials and subcontracts required for project success.
• Maintain accurate reporting on progress, costs, forecasting, and scheduling.
