Job summary
NFI Industries in Newark, NJ is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Construction) to lead industrial and commercial projects from concept through handover, focusing on warehouse retrofits, TI, and core/shell groundwork. You will manage large budgets and aggressive schedules with diverse stakeholders.
Requires 8+ years of PM experience, a Bachelor's in CM/Engineering/Architecture, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or MS Project.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent.
- 8+ years of commercial or industrial construction project management experience.
- Proven track record delivering ground-up industrial/commercial buildings and TI projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from pre-construction through final closeout with detailed execution plans.
- Manage timelines for concurrent tenant improvements and ground-up builds.
- Direct project teams and vendors, coordinating internal and external support.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and utility needs.
- Present progress reports to leadership and stakeholders.
