Job summary

ESPO Corporation is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead EPC/Construction programs across Chicago and nearby states, guiding projects from pre-construction through warranty. You will drive safety, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, and client relations while coordinating with engineering and field teams to deliver multi-site projects on time and within budget.

The role requires a degree in construction/engineering and strong communication, organizational, and analytical

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering or related field; 7 years PM experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with scheduling, cost control and project management software.
• Ability to manage large workloads across multiple sites and programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure safe, quality, on-time project execution.
• Manage project budgets, cash flow, and cost control; prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Negotiate contracts and changes; coordinate subs, suppliers, and field staff.
• Develop and implement Project Execution Plans, safety and quality plans, and procurement strategies.
• Maintain client relations and prepare detailed scope-of-work documents and progress updates.
• Review permits, risk processes, and contract documentation; ensure compliance and audits.
