Job summary

ESPO Corporation in Bloomington, MN is seeking an Assistant Construction Manager for a 12-month contract to hire. You will support EPC Project Manager and oversee day-to-day construction activities, safety, quality, schedule, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7 years relevant project management experience in the construction industry.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Must be able to meet the company's driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and project execution.
• Develop planning, scheduling, cost development, and critical objectives.
• Manage client relationships for proposals and project items.
• Negotiate contracts, change orders, and risk reviews.
• Coordinate staffing, subcontractors, and procurement plans.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
