Job summary

LeoForce, a Kansas City area general contractor, seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead all phases of major projects from planning through commissioning. You will negotiate contracts, read blueprints, and supervise teams while ensuring safety and budget compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in construction project management, a relevant degree, and strong communication and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality results for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong negotiation and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven problem-solving and blueprint-reading capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Negotiate contracts with architects, vendors, contractors and other workers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.
• Direct and supervise construction workers and subcontractors.
• Implement cost control measures to keep projects within budget.
• Resolve contract disputes and design problems that arise during construction.
• Lead and manage project teams to ensure high performance and productivity.
• Prepare and present project updates to clients and senior management.
