Job summary

Globalchannelmanagement is seeking a Construction Operations Manager with a strong background in managing construction projects. The role requires that you collaborate with the project team to define strategy, allocate resources, and ensure projects meet timelines and budgets.

You will review project documents, work with safety teams to implement programs, and mentor staff in project management and estimating. This position is on-site with responsibilities across execution and partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5 years of on-the-job experience in a similar construction role.
• Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical engineering or construction management.
• Master's degree in management or engineering is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Work with the project team to define project strategy and allocate resources.
• Meet project budgets by assessing operational and financial risks.
• Review and analyze project or contract documents in detail.
• Collaborate with safety team to plan and manage safety programs.
• Assist project managers with project analysis and scheduling of reports.
• Oversee projects to ensure work meets specifications and timetable.
• Convey project needs from the project manager to firm management.
• Support relationships with contractors to build strategic partnerships.
• Train and mentor employees in project management and estimating.
