Job summary

ISI Professional Services is seeking a senior Mechanical Engineer to provide Owner's Representative design management services to a DoD client. You will lead and support design activities for a multi-hundred-million-dollar program, coordinating with government and contractor teams to ensure design intent and schedule adherence.

The role requires strong communication, initiative, and the ability to manage design studies, documentation, and reviews across pre-construction and construction phases.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering; 10+ years of mechanical experience.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering aspects of pre-construction phase including planning, engineering studies, design development management, and procurement package development.
• Support project managers with RFIs, submittals, and design clarification.
• Provide engineering oversight for studies and designs for new construction, renovations, and improvements to facilities including MEP utility systems.
• Lead and participate in weekly and monthly progress meetings; track schedule progress and assess risks.
